Candle Care

01. Trim

A short wick creates a clean, steady burn.
Before each light, trim to ⅛–¼ inch using your wick trimmer.
A precise cut keeps soot away and the flame controlled.

02. Placement

Set your candle in a still, stable space.
Avoid drafts, vents, open windows, and high‑traffic areas movement disrupts the flame and marks the vessel.
Keep away from flammables, never leave it burning unattended, and let the vessel cool before moving.

03. First Burn

Let the wax melt fully to the edges.
Candles burn about one hour per inch of diameter.
This first burn sets the candle’s memory and prevents tunneling.

04. Extinguish

Burn for no more than 4 hours at a time (or 3 hours for smaller vessels).
Stop use when ¼ inch of wax remains.
For a clean finish, extinguish with a snuffer. No smoke, no splatter, no discoloration.
